The album from which this was taken was a flop in the marketplace, "Kenton/Wagner" featuring arrangements of melodies from Richard Wagner operas by Johnny Richards. Jazz fans hated it. As a result it sold poorly and is now one of only two or three Stan Kenton albums which has never been reissued on CD.
Today it is rarely found. As such, a copy of the stereo LP in good condition which plays quietly and without distortion is worth a LOT of money! Do you have any other tracks from "Kenton/Wagner" to share with us?
